Kidnapped former Minister of Environment, Laurentia Mallam and her husband, freed

Former Minister of Environment under Goodluck Jonathan administration, Mrs. Laurentia Laraba Mallam and her husband, Pius Mallam, 73, who were kidnapped by gunmen on Monday night in Kaduna State have been freed, a competent source close to the family confirmed to SaharaReporters. The family reportedly paid an undisclosed sum for ransom before the kidnappers released the couple. The kidnappers initially demanded a N10million ransom.
