New Music: Cnikree - Obodo ft DJ Switch and Janey Krest

Cnik Ree is playing no games this time. The Belgium-based Nigerian artiste who decided return to his country of birth and set the musical sphere ablaze just like he did in Europe, is back with another single aptly titled “Obodo”.

The silky song master titled his latest effort “Obodo” which translates to “home” or “homeland”. Indeed CnikRee is reminding us that no matter how far he roams, there’s truly nothing like home. After a quick fire introduction with his previous single “Turn Around” featuring Skales, he is set to keep us dancing with Obodo and we aren’t complaining.

So what’s next for CnikRee? The artist says
“I am pretty much excited to keep putting out singles to familiarize myself with the people”. He continues: “Eventually, there will be a full record release of my forthcoming Ep The Reborn, but for now I’ll keep rolling out the singles. Just like my latest single “Obodo”,where I’m paying tribute to the nation, there’s no place like home!”
Well said!  We will definitely be looking forward to more from Cnik Ree but in the meantime, download and enjoy ”Obodo featuring DJ Switch and Jay Krest” below.
